" Oh, it 's the Anzacs again," he said ; " when they heard of the advance at Loos, they went over across, and surprised the Turks. They 've taken two lines of trenches. They did it without any orders — just wanted to celebrate the good news." I was awakened the next morning by the sound 110 DUGOUTS of a whizz-bang flying over our dugout.
