When we had dropped the last we looked round for a camping-place, as, though it was early, the abundance of food thus suddenly fallen to us was worth securing. Near us, at the foot of a precipice, was a heap of frag- mentary granite, brought down by a recent- fall, which had marked a long scar on the face of the cliff. The masses had piled themselves up as though to form a Cyclopean temple.
