I cannot believe that Paul, *' the founder of Christianity, " would have bothered to entangle his teaching with the encumbrance of an earthly fanatic who was murdered.
I cannot believe that that *' poor mis- guided victim " could ever have become the ideal for the best of mankind, the Personal Friend of millions of men and women all down the ages. My reason demands some better theory to account for all the facts.
