Zion, we know, communicated with the temple-courts by a bridge, and a portion of that bridge still remains, lead- ing plainly across to the present generally-admitted site ; whereas, the hill on which we stand is nearly a mile distant across hill and valley, as may be seen by referring to the view, and never could have communi- cated with it, either by a bridge or otherwise.
