Sehr starke Doppelbrechung, Aus- löschung parallel den Kanten der orthodiagonalen Zone, auf (004} tritt eine Bisectrix schief aus. Ref . u Traubc .

Die in dem Schlamm der in der Umgebung von Blecked a. d. E., Provinz Hannover, auftretenden Moortümpeln eingebetteten Feuersteine und granitischen Felsbrocken überziehen sich schon nach 4 — 2 Monaten mit einer glänzenden Haut von Pyrit; da der Ueberzug an der Luft seinen Glanz bald verliert, dürfte wohl eher Markasit vorliegen.
