Voted that Mr. Pciei- Pratt, shall be called by us upon trial for some convenient time. Voted that Deacon Nathaniel Skinner, Capt. Dunham and John Sprague, shall be a committee to tall Mr, Peter Pratt for some convenient time of probation for the settling in the work of the ministry, and that said committee is authorized to agree with him for liis wages. March 11, 1740. Voted to call Mr. Peter Pratt to the work of the ministry among us in order to ordination.
