Read the Petition of the Vestry of Queen Caroline Parish in P- 3i7 Ann Arundel County and of M"' Caleb Dorsey and M"" John Dorsey his son Praying that a Bill may be brought in to confirm to the Vestry of the said Parish a title to two Acres of Land entailed by the said Caleb Dorsey on the said John Dorsey and referred to the Con- sideration of the lower House of Assembly Read the Petition of Several Freeholders Lihabitants of Cecil County and other parts of this Province Praying that a bill may be brought in to prevent the woods being set on fire and recom- mended to the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly Read the petition of the Rector Vestrymen and Church Wardens of King & Queen Parish in St Mary's & Charles County praying that a bill may be brought in to levy on the taxable Inhabitants of the said Parisli so much Tob° as will sufiice to build them a new Church, and purchase two Acres of Land, and to repair Newport Church and that the new church may be called Christ Church.
