Estate planning is one of the most difficult of all decisions a multigeneration farm family has to discuss. I truly believe our fore- fathers knew that a land cared for and nurtured by an heir would bring strength and economic vitality to our country. Estate taxes are forcing sales of farms, increasing the rate at which farms are gobbled up by the corporate world. The estate tax must be abol- ished if we are to preserve family farms in this country, I want to thank you for listening to my humble views on this critical issue.
