What reading level is Gynaecology for Students And Practitioners book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

This procedure consists in the removal, with the sharp spoon, curette and scissors, of as much of the friable ulcerating growth as possible. It is chiefly applicable to cases of cervical cancer ; the great risk of perforating the uterus and infecting the peritoneal cavity practically prohibits its use in corporeal cancer. Strict antiseptic precautions must be observed ; the spoon must be used with care, and the finger constantly employed to gauge the depth to which the scraping has passed. The ...limits of the friable tissue can be recognized by the finger, and beyond this the scraping should not go ; large arterial branches may be laid open by an unrestrained use of the spoon. The vaginal edges of the growth may be clipped with scissors until healthy tissues are reached.
The large cavity thus produced may be treated either with the electro-cautery, or with a strong antiseptic and astringent solution.
The objection to the former is that considerable sloughing usually results ; the advantage of it is that it completely destroys an additional layer of cancerous tissue.
