SIDNEY.
The first Methodist sermon preached in Sidney, was by Jesse Lee, on the twenty-ninth of January, 1794. This town was at first included in Readfleld Circuit, and was probably visited by the preachers, but no account was given of their labors. The first circuit preacher now remembered, who regularly visited Sidney, was Ebenezer F.
