THE MOCK BATTLE.
There was some delay in getting out the vessels to commence the Mock Naval Battle. An immense crowd lined... the bank of the Lake, and occupied every fence and house top, besides all the carriages that could be drawn near enough to afford a view.
The entire crowd in the city seemed to have been concentrated at this point.
Probably nothing so difficult of satisfactory execution could have been placed upon the programme, but under the direction of the committee, guided by the charts of Dr. Paesons and Capt. Champlin, as published in the Cleveland Heeald, the real battle was. faithfully represented in the mimic fray.
