1. Mix on paper and put into a prepared i.t. (10**°* long, i^ diam.), 10 pts. CuO to 1 pt. C, pow- dered charcoal, by weight 5*^ in all. The tube should not be over i full.
2. Heat to redness for 5 or 10 minutes.
