That I have fpoke to Lawrence ...who has promifed me to ufe his Beft Endeavours to get a Maid Servant for you.
That I delivered your Letter to the Treafurer.
That the Governour will not al- low any more fees to be taken or ( i37 ) received for the naturalization Acts than what is directed by Ordinance, and now in confequence of yours of yefterday I have been at Mr. Laws to acquaint him that Will had loft the Letter from him to you but he is gone out of Town.
The Treafurer defires to be excufed from writing by this Op- portunity by reafon he is now very bufy making up his accounts.
