She was a great sufferer for several years, but was treated with exceptional tenderness by her kind hearted devoted husband, to whom she was married in Marion June 24, 1857. She died childless. May 13, 1898, and was buried in the beautiful Marion Cemetery. Mrs. S. Was an aunt of Mrs. Flora Bowen True, wife of Mr. Harry True, the banker and philanthropist.
