The gas is derived from the top of the Colorado in the Medi- cine Hat field, and from sands in the Lower Colorado in the Bow Island and Viking fields. Three anticlinal arches have been found. These arches however, are so low and diffuse that, owing to the scarcity of natural exposures of rock, it is difficult to trace them.
