And hence it is that if men shall profess they have received anything from God by dreams or visions, concerning either what is to be believed or done, the matter of these dreams must be examined and weighed in the balance of the Scriptures, and is no further to be credited than as it is agreeable thereunto.
" It cannot be denied that men may make profitable use of their dreams at this day.
