The Stewart then talks of his Manerium of Renfrew, — and we have the Manerium of Galston, &c. Owing to the ancient resemblance between the feudal practice of England and Scotland, Manerium may at the period in question, in the latter country, have been used in a more extended sense.
f His being of Cadzow, has never yet been questioned, except by Dr Hamilton ; nor, before him, was there a surmise of Dalserfe, at the time, belonging to any other.
