‘Nineteen thirty-five,’ he said; ‘1935 this plane went into production and she’s still going strong! She was in the Berlin airlift.’ ‘This plane?’ said Race.
‘This model.’ ‘Oh, this model.’ ‘Hundreds of tons of meat and butter they flew in every day, right over the heads of the Russians.’ ‘Oh, I’ve read about that,’ said Race.
