"The second of these subdivided parts, in particular, respects only theprivate state of every single man and woman, which must be performedfrom the scheme of the nativity, the knowledge of which is of mostexcellent use to all persons. Therefore let the nativities of childrenbe diligently observed for the future, that is to say, the day, hour, and minute of birth as near as can be, which will be of use to theastrological physician, for the most principal conjecture of themalignity of the disease, whether it be curable, or shall end withdeath, depends upon the knowledge of the nativity; and very rarely anydisease invades a person, but some unfortunate direction of theluminaries or ascendant to the body, or beams of malignant planetspreceded the same, or did then operate, or at least some evilrevolution, profection or transit, which cannot be discovered by anyother way but by astrology.
