After the above, selections were read by Dr. Maclay ; Eev. Dr.
Samuel Baker led in prayer, commending all the afflicted ones, the family, the Church, the Bible Union, the Missionary cause, to the tender mercies of our Father in heaven. The following hymn was then read by the Rev. J. W. Sarles, and sung by the choir.
