Three cases of epithelioma of the eyelid, one of cancer of the tongue and one of primary cancer of the glands of the neck, were treated with pyoktanin. All were failures On extirpating the growths a microscopical examination showed not the slightest change in the epithelial elements. — Lk Deuter, in La Tribune. Med.
REPORT ON MATERIA MEDICA AND THERAPEUTICS. 131 Quene found that similar injections softened the centre of tumors without in the least affecting the periphery.
